Three children were injured on Tuesday afternoon after a Chinese man attacked them with a knife in Switzerland‘s Zurich. The 23-year-old attacker was overpowered and was taken into custody, according to the city’s police department.
The police said that the violent attack happened at day-care facility in the city’s northern Oerlikon district. “Shortly after 12:00pm (1000 GMT), the Zurich city police were informed of a violent crime on Berninastrasse.Three children were injured,” said the police department.
However, details regarding the attacker’s identity, the specific circumstances surrounding the incident, and the extent of the children’s injuries remain undisclosed at this time. The police have indicated that additional information will be provided in due course.
