Women’s Rugby World Cup: Wales to kick-off campaign against Scotland in Pool B

Wales will start their 2025 Women’s Rugby World Cup campaign against Scotland in Manchester on Saturday, 23 August.

The Pool B encounter at the Salford Community Stadium is a repeat of both nations’ opening game in the previous tournament in New Zealand, won 18-15 by Wales.

Ioan Cunningham’s side then face Canada at the same venue the following Saturday, before completing their pool fixtures on Saturday, 6 September in Exeter in a double-header that will first see Canada play Scotland at Sandy Park at midday before Wales face Fiji at 14:45 BST.

The pool stage culminates in a weekend of matches across four venues, with the two best teams on competition points in each pool qualifying for the quarter-finals and the knockout phase.
