3 Moisturize the skin
Apply moisturizer to prevent skin itching. Using lotion or cream containing glycerine maintains moisture on the skin and keeps the skin texture healthy. To protect the skin from itching, moisturize the skin immediately after bathing.
4. Keep the body hydrated
Lack of water reduces the moisture of the skin and increases dryness. In such a situation, drink plenty of water and also try to keep the skin hydrated from within. Drink 6 to 8 glasses of water throughout the day. With this the lack of water in the body can be fulfilled. Also the flow of oxygen remains proper.
5. Neem leaves paste
To protect the skin from itching, prepare a paste by grinding neem leaves rich in anti-bacterial and anti-microbial properties. Now mix coconut oil and honey in it and apply it before bathing. Leave it for 5 to 7 minutes and then take a bath. With this, infection and itching can be reduced.
6. Apply aloe vera gel
Apply aloe vera gel from time to time to get relief from increasing itching in the skin. This cools the skin and the rashes growing on the skin start reducing. Anti-inflammatory properties are found in it. It reaches the skin and provides soothing effect to the skin.
According to the National Institute of Health, 75 active compounds are found in aloe vera. This provides the skin with vitamins, minerals, lignin, saponin, salicylic acid and amino acids. 7. Oatmeal bath will be beneficial
Oatmeal helps in locking the moisture of the skin. This keeps the skin healthy and clean. In fact, by adding 1 percent colloidal oatmeal to the cream, there is visible improvement in the skin. According to a research, out of 61 people, 30 were given 1 percent colloidal oat eczema cream while 31 were given a moisturizer. Improvements in the skin of people who used colloidal oatmeal were observed. To protect the skin from itching, bathing by mixing it in lukewarm water maintains the pH level of the skin.
