MUSSOORIE: The idyllic hill town of Mussoorie sparked to life as it witnessed a parade of Lamborghinis on its narrow hill roads. A total of 71 Lamborghinis of different models and colours buzzed past the town over the weekend, causing life to come to a standstill as motorists stopped their vehicles.
Shopkeepers came out of their shops, and tourists and residents took out their mobiles to admire and film the convoy of these splendid cars.
“It was an amazing, never-seen-before moment. The splendid cars in dazzling colours rushed through the roads. I came out of my shop when I heard the loud, deep growl of the engines and shouts of ‘Lambos‘ from the crowd,” said Shalabh Garg, a shopkeeper.
“I have never seen such cars before, and that too in such large numbers. Don’t name me, but I forgot my duty and stood spellbound watching the splendour of these cars,” said a policeman manning the traffic when these cars arrived.
The Lamborghinis, 71 in total, crossed the crowded Gandhi Chowk in the afternoon for a night halt at Hotel Marriott on the Kempty Road and left the next day.
This parade was part of the Lamborghini Giro 2024 event.
