In an exciting episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati 16 on Friday, 18th October, the charming and witty Bollywood stars Vidya Balan and Kartik Aaryan will grace the hot seat. Before the duo settled in, Vidya couldn’t help but tease Kartik, noticing that he seemed nervous. With a mischievous smile, she asked, “Kartik, lagta hai tum kaafi dare hue ho! Are you ready for KBC?” Kartik, clearly a little on edge, admitted with a laugh that he was feeling scared.
In a light-hearted moment, Vidya decided to take matters into her own hands; “Chalo, tumhara test lete hain!” she said with a twinkle in her eye. As Kartik tried his best to answer her rapid-fire questions, he got one right and fumbled on another. Vidya, not missing a beat, added, “Overconfident mat bano, aur ek aur baat suno…jab jawaab de rahe ho, toh aise hi mat bolo. Bolo: ‘Sir, please option A ko lock kiya jaaye, tameez se, nahi toh woh bhadak jaate hai!’”, referring to the legendary host, Amitabh Bachchan. Kartik, trying to keep up with her banter, couldn’t help but smile sheepishly.
Vidya also playfully tried to scare him by leaning into her Manjulika persona from Bhool Bhulaiyaa, making Kartik exclaim, “Abhi mujhe Vidya chahiye, Manjulika nahi!” and they ended saying, “Chalo KBC khelte hain!”
Earlier, Vidya and Kartik had shared a reel where Vidya was seen asking Kartik whether he is ready to win Rs 1 cr in Kaun Banega Crorepati. Kartik even shared a picture on his Instagram handle with Amitabh Bachchan and wrote, ‘Rooh baba X Manjulika X Bhootnath (sic)’.
