'BJP party of terrorists': Mallikarjun Kharge responds to PM Modi's 'Urban Naxals' remark

NEW DELHI: Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge on Saturday called BJP a party of terrorists over PM Modi’s remark that Congress has been taken over by Urban Naxals.
Congress chief further accused BJP of lynching and raping tribals. “Progressive people are being called Urban Naxals…this is his habit. His party itself is a terrorist party. They do lynching, hit people, urinate in the mouths of people from scheduled castes, rape tribal people. They also support those people who do all these. Then they blame others, (PM )Modi has no right to say this. Wherever his govt is there, atrocities are committed on people of scheduled castes, especially tribals. Then he keeps talking about atrocities, it is your govt, you can control it,” said Kharge.

PM Modi, last week, while addressing a rally Maharashtra’s Washim said that Congress has been taken over by a “gang of urban Naxals” who want to promote their agenda by dividing people.
“They think that if we all unite, then their agenda to divide the country will fail. Everyone can see how closely Congress stands with people who don’t harbour good intentions for India. The Congress wants to keep Dalits as Dalits, the poor as poor. So, beware of the Congress. Urban Naxals are running the Congress. The party wants to divide the country, so it is trying to divide us. So, be united to foil the Congress party’s plot. This is the time to be together,” PM Modi had said in the rally.
