NEW DELHI: Indian all-rounder Axar Patel shared the joyous news of his wife Meha Patel‘s pregnancy through an heartwarming video on his official social media handle on Monday. The video captures touching moments of the couple, expressing their excitement as they prepare to welcome their first child.
Axar, who tied the knot with Meha, a nutritionist and dietician, in a lavish ceremony in Vadodara in January 2023, shared the video on Instagram with the caption, “A great joy is coming.” The couple’s announcement has been met with a flurry of congratulatory messages from fans and fellow cricketers.

In a recent appearance on The Great Indian Kapil Show, along with his teammates from the Indian cricket team, Axar playfully hinted that some exciting news might be on the way, sparking speculation among fans. The official announcement has now confirmed those hints, as the couple eagerly awaits the arrival of their little one.
Axar was part of the Indian squad for the two-match Test series against Bangladesh but did not play in either match. The 30-year-old all-rounder has also been rested for the ongoing T20I series against Bangladesh, allowing him to spend quality time with his family during this special period.
